We want to help farmers - LET IT WEED!
About usTrabotyx was founded in early 2020, when Tim Kreukniet (CEO) and Mohamed Boussama (CTO) met at Antler. After speaking with more than 100 farmers, one challenge became clear: farmers need extra hands in the field — especially for weeding.
In 2023, we launched our first mechanical weeder, with five farmers trusting us to keep their hectares clean. While effective, both our team and our customers saw the potential of diode laser technology to take precision and sustainability even further. That vision became reality in 2025 with the launch of TOR, our precision laser weeding robot capable of removing up to five weeds per second. That year marked a period of strong momentum. We finalized TOR 0.5, introduced TOR at multiple events, and connected with over 150 farmers — confirming the demand for autonomous laser weeding. By the end of the year, we sold seven TOR 1.0 models, all scheduled for delivery ahead of the 2026 season. As we move forward, we remain focused on building reliable, chemical-free solutions that help farmers do more with less. Let it weed. |

Our mission"Trab" is the Tunisian word for soil. Good soil creates healthy food, is resistant to weather events and supports all life on earth. We want to apply the progress in machine learning and robotics to the field of agriculture with 3 specific goals:
